Orphaned Hoglet Siblings

Rescue - 4th July, 2022

Rescue

Some animals that arrive with us have no other option and if left to fend for themselves, could face fatal consequences. Sadly, the 3 young hoglets you see here became orphans when their mother passed away suddenly. Luckily for them, the family who’s garden the mother had chosen to nest in, were fascinated by the hedgehog family and been keeping an eye on them from afar, since day one! When they noticed the mother had passed away, they were extremely concerned for the youngsters and so brought them in to the centre to be cared for.

Rehabilitation

Now, with one of our dedicated orphan feeders, they have the best chance possible to survive and live a long life in the wild once old enough.
