Open Weekend 2026

Dates to be confirmed

Every year, we host our annual summer Open Weekend. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year, with all proceeds going towards the care and rehabilitation of the thousands of animal emergencies we respond to.

With stalls and activities for young and old alike, you can enjoy local arts & crafts, photography and much more. From learning how to make bird feeders to buying beautiful artwork – there are plenty of activities for children and adults. Grey Goose Wing Free Company Archery are returning along with face painting, bouncy castles and more!

The Southern Bus Preservation Society are very kindly operating a free bus service once again, to and from the event.  These will run around Leatherhead and Fetcham.

There is plenty to eat and drink too, with the wonderful Gosia’s Table returning, a bar and ice cream!

It provides a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the UK’s leading wildlife hospitals. You will also get to meet some of our volunteers and talk to them about their experiences of looking after sick and injured wildlife.

Admission is £5 per person, per day (under 5s go free). Free parking is available in the field on Springfield Drive, next to the hospital, kindly donated for the day by KBR Leatherhead.

For those on foot, we are just a short walk from Leatherhead Town centre and train station.

The cost of a hospital tour is £3 per person and under 5s go free. To book tour tickets, please see below.

If you are interested in a stall, please email us at office@wildlifeaid.org.uk with further information.
