Rescue
We feared the worst when this badger cub arrived in a completely and utterly collapsed state…
He was so shutdown that all of his veins were collapsed, making it impossible to fit an IV line. So, Plan B was to allow him to warm up in one of our incubators, whilst regularly encouraging him to lap a special glucose serum.
Rehabilitation
Amazingly, in less than 24 hours, his condition had improved enormously and he is now getting stronger, each day!
We have high hopes that he will make a full recovery and be able to join our other badger cubs, in the future.
