Have you ever seen such a desperate plea for help in a creatures eyes?
This helpless rat had ended up on the doorstep of a kind human being, that unlike many others, had gone above and beyond to rescue this poor creature.
The team discovered an infected wound near the base of the rats tail which needed a thorough clean. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the rodent was in a collapsed state and so was left to rest and regain its strength.
Rehabilitation
Having spent the night in a warm enclosure with plenty of food and water, the rat had sprung back to life and was certainly ready to have its wound tended to.
It is now on a course of medication and we are very hopeful for a full recovery. Check back here for updates on his progress!
